BASIC SALARY: Up to \xc2\xa360,000 dependant on your relevant experience

JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manufacturing \xe2\x80\x93 chemical, manufacturing, COMAH, DSEAR

As our new Production Manager, we need you to come in and lead the production department of our COMAH site in the East Midlands.

The team is 20+, made up of Production Operators (indirect reports), 2 Production Planners and a Production Supervisor (direct reports). The team vary in their experience levels and longevity with us. One of your first challenges will be to harmonise the production team who need a good leader.

You will report directly into the Plant Manager and will have full autonomy for all production related operations including chemical manufacturing and production planning.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manufacturing \xe2\x80\x93 chemical, manufacturing, COMAH, DSEAR

\xc2\xb7 Lead a team of direct and indirect staff within the production facility \xe2\x80\x93 this will include machine operators, supervisors, team leaders and production planners
\xc2\xb7 Achieve operational KPI\xe2\x80\x99s relating to production, quality and stock levels
\xc2\xb7 Develop a harmonised team who collaborate to achieve their own personal goals
\xc2\xb7 Drive Health & Safety including MAPP
\xc2\xb7 Ensure our site adheres to the relevant standards for COMAH and IPPC directives

YOUR BACKGROUND: Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manufacturing \xe2\x80\x93 chemical, manufacturing, COMAH, DSEAR

Ideally, you will:
\xc2\xb7 Have managed a chemical production facility before in a suitable similar role which includes production planning under your remit
\xc2\xb7 Understand chemical processing machinery, equipment and systems
\xc2\xb7 Be a strong leader and able to demonstrate where you have developed production staff
\xc2\xb7 Have a strong understanding of safety so will likely hold an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification

THE COMPANY:

We are a COMAH site, part of a multi-billion turnover group specialising in the manufacturing of chemicals to including adhesives, coatings, and inks. Sales are split \xe2\x80\x93 50% domestic and 50% export.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets and worked with the following products and/or services: Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, COMAH, IPPC, chemical, pharmaceutical, plant, MAPP, DSEAR, Chemical, IOSH, NEBOSH, OEE.
