This role brings an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to the Tate Modern delivery team and maintain the coordination and production of the Tate Modern curatorial programme within the Production and Installation team. Tate Modern\'s programme of major temporary exhibitions, collection displays, commissions, live performance, and an exciting film programme continues to develop in diversity the scope and the team ensures the highest standard of content and delivery of this programme.
The successful candidate will coordinate all activity across the Production and Installation team, including with contractors and wider gallery staff to support all aspects of installation and take down of exhibitions and displays.
This will involve the production, maintenance and updating of a central Art Installation Weekly Plan and Six Weekly Logistics Plan, as well as representing the curatorial team at cross departmental logistics meetings.
You will need to demonstrate a strong ability to work within a large and complex operating environment, across a range of different teams and programmes supporting their coordination. An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, anticipate potential problems and prioritise information, reacting quickly and responding effectively to unforeseen tasks and shifting deadlines is also essential. You will be flexible and resilient, able to use your terrific interpersonal skills to influence and manage expectations.
Experience in delivering and producing exhibitions or presenting and installing artworks in a gallery context will be a real benefit.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years until 2026.
