Production Assistant, Children\xe2\x80\x99s Division

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our very busy Children\xe2\x80\x99s Production Department as Production Assistant.

Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, key tasks will include costing and processing reprints, handling backlist e-book creation, some POD and providing administrative support to the team.

Knowledge, skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • proven IT skills (knowledge of Word and Excel essential)
  • a keen eye for detail
Some production experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Additional information

The role is a full-time permanent position with an annual salary of \xc2\xa325,000

The role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are Mondays and Tuesdays.

As an Assistant role, this position is eligible for Bloomsbury\xe2\x80\x99s Rental Deposit Loan Scheme. To assist candidates who want to start and to establish a career in publishing, Bloomsbury offers an interest-free rental deposit to support securing somewhere to live. The rental deposit loan can be up to \xc2\xa33,000 and will be paid back over 2 years.
