Sheridan Maine are working exclusively with a leading wholesaler in the UK to recruit for a Production Accountant. This is a newly created and pivotal role in the Finance team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director and holding direct responsibility for the Production Division\'s Accounting and Reporting, it is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge to make an impact and provide much needed support adding real value to the business!

Overview and Key Accountabilities:

• Preparation and Updating of Costings and Bills of Materials, Systems Reviews
• Control and Reconciliation of production records for accuracy and completeness
• Timely production of weekly reporting
• Business Partnering with Department Leads
• Provide financial support to the Commercial Finance Director and Production Team
• Review the weekly costing reports to include performance KPI\'s in production such as throughput ratios, inventory turnover, return on assets, labour productivity, etc
• Deliver robust and insightful performance and business information to Commercial Finance

Key Skills and Experience:

• FMCG Production Experience - Essential
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desirable
• System experience of Stock & Batch Control and Yield Management
• Advanced Excel - capable of analysing large volumes of data
• Team player, able to build effective relationships across the business
• Able to work autonomously and act off own initiative
• Ability to adapt to the fast moving and changing nature of business
