You already know that RS are a global leader in the supply of electronic components, so we have an exciting vacancy open on our Global Product & Supplier Management team for a category manager to look after our ever changing portfolio of eMech products. We\'re looking for someone with some experience already in product portfolio management, who is looking for a career move into a role with responsibility; for introducing new eMech products (switches, relays, indicators etc..), staying on top of new industry developments at Expos and Trade Shows, visiting suppliers and ensuring we are leading the way with new products, and ensuring our eMech portfolio is performing optimally through effective data analysis.

About the role

As part of our Global Product and Supplier Management Team, the Portfolio Manager plays a critical part managing the product and technology strategy within a category.

You will use analysis and data insight to determine the selection of products by brand across our offering and have a particular focus on NPI preparation, content collation, data cleansing, customer enquiry response and invoice query resolution

You will be responsible for the following processes:

• NPI- Population of AVT\'s
• AVT Completion- Checking for Duplicates within current portfolio
• PDR\xc2\xb4s - received Daily
• Content- collation of Content and enhancement of current data
• Data Cleanse Management- Pack size change accuracy and constant update e.g identification and reporting of correct HS codes, working with suppliers.
• ACR\xc2\xb4s - Data change requests for CDAT to change SAP/JDA data.
• Quality and compliance issues - Customer driven queries with SLA same day response.
• NPI - to use NPI performance data and drive the 3,6,9 stage review and assessment including Content, Pricing, POS and Stock checks.
