Department Role in Achieving the Company Vision



The product team play a critical role in achieving our business objectives by developing innovative new products, staying up to date with the latest industry trends/technology and providing continuous support to the sales and marketing teams.



Origin Fitness is seeking a motivated individual to join its Product department as a Product Marketing Executive. This role will focus on delivering projects on time and on budget; working closely with Marketing, Sales and Service to support our products and their associated projects.

Responsibilities:



Product Positioning

Develop clear and compelling product positioning and craft messaging that resonates with our target audiences, focusing on the market leading products and services Origin offers customers. Be capable of finding a position for products within a full-scope solution, giving products their own identity within our larger pitches
Bringing to Market

Develop and implement a "Go-To-Market" strategy for new product releases which briefs all stakeholders and enables them to leverage the product's features. Create, implement and establish a streamlined workflow to ensure timely delivery of product information to to the Sales team for successful launches.
Product Awareness

Create and implement content strategies aimed at increasing awareness of both new and existing products, enhancing the market's perception of the Origin range as a premium offering. Develop initiatives to position the Origin range prominently in the minds of consumers.
Sales Enablement

Design, create and produce tools and training material for Sales, enabling them to effectively pitch the products to their intended audience and engage clients effectively. Create brochures and collateral to support the sales process and enhance client engagement.
Content Creation

Provide information and collateral to the External Marketing team that allows them to generate content around Origin product. When required, be capable of helping to create product content (text and video) which can be posted to all company channels both internal and external
Customer Insight

Collect and analyse feedback from clients, sales teams, and customer service to refine marketing strategies and inform product development. Utilise various methods, including surveys, interviews and direct sales interactions to gather insights in monthly/quarterly feedback reports that contribute to product feature development.
Competitor Intelligence

Monitor the fitness market and produce comprehensive reports on competitor launches, ranges and strategies which will inform future planning
Market Research

Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning within health and fitness sector. Continuously monitor the competitor landscape and present your findings in analysis reports outlining major trends, competitor movements and strategic recommendations
Product Development Insight

Provide valuable input on development projects to ensure alignment with market needs and company objectives. This includes assessing the viability of market sectors and customer profiles. Additionally, contribute ideas to projects from a product marketing perspective and attend all design review meetings to stay informed about the development roadmap.

Essential Requirements, Skills, and Competencies



Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of fitness, fitness trends and the products currently driving training and sales within commercial fitness. Awareness of the major brands in commercial fitness Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Document Editing : Experience editing and formatting visual documents Creative Software: Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud - specifically Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator for creation of visual documents such as product brochures Software: Proficient with Microsoft Office Data Management: Experience with data processing and data management, specifically using sales and market sector data to create buyer profiles and personas Teamwork: Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with stakeholders Independent work: Happy working both within the Product team to guide development, and also independently to drive their own task roadmap related to creation of product collateral and documents

Desirable skills and competencies



Campaign Management: Proven track record of creating/managing campaigns with a measurable ROI Presentation Skills: Experience of (or willingness to try) presenting to camera and/or audio recording, ideally in a professional context Product Design Knowledge: Knowledge of the Product Design process, how development projects proceed and the stages of development would be beneficial Fitness Interest: A keen interest or previous experience in fitness is beneficial at any level Portfolio: A portfolio or similar collection of previous works to demonstrate the above essential skills is highly favoured, this can be discussed at the interview stage
