What is the opportunity?This is an exciting opportunity to join the Everyday Banking Products and Solutions Team who design, build and maintain market leading products that meet the everyday banking needs of personal and business customers in Northern Ireland.The successful candidate can be based in Belfast or London and will lead the delivery of our Business Savings portfolio in the UK.In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively and navigate complex decisions, including portfolio pricing, helping to craft a product roadmap which embraces insight, meets regulatory expectations and delivers good customer outcomes
  • Lead the delivery of key product and proposition initiatives covering a range of customer, operational and regulatory projects
  • Monitor competitor propositions, pricing strategies and market movements to protect and grow market share through crafting and delivering data driven products and experiences
  • Represent the Product and Solutions team on Bank of Ireland Group and UK projects, building good relationships and ensuring the voice of customer is at the heart of decisions
  • Maintain excellent working partnerships with product partners and scheme providers ensuring the bank meets it contractual obligations
What will make you stand out?
  • Product management experience (ideally in Financial Services) with a broad understanding of banking products and customer propositions
  • Well-developed understanding of banking regulations, conduct and compliance standards
  • Customer focused with an ability to put the customer at the heart of product and proposition management including process design
  • Ability to make creative but pragmatic, commercially sound decisions and understand how to deliver great customer outcomes using data driven insights and customer experience methodologies
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data sets and translate these into compelling customer propositions with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Great relationship management with a collaborative style; strong ability to challenge constructively and influence a range of stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes

The team exists to design, develop and deliver market leading products that meet the everyday banking needs of personal and business customers in the UK. The team is responsible for achieving great customer outcomes with products, services and experiences that truly meet the needs of our customers, within the framework of compliance and regulation.
