Infrastructure Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 M365 SharePoint Platform

As a Barclays Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for the roadmap for the technology products you own. You will bring together technical and architectural skills to determine the features and components that Barclays should develop, and then translate this into deployable components by building, engineering and validating the architectural patterns and designs that enable successful delivery.

What will you be doing?

• Building and managing multiyear product roadmaps aligning them to overall strategy for Collaboration Services
• Carrying out core hands on engineering of early stage and initial release for products within end user tech
• Ensuring the end-to-end technical integrity and quality of solutions and product releases.
• Working within programs to successfully deliver product change and program objectives
• Creating technical solutions at all levels of detail
• Working with Domain Architects and the broader CTO community to develop the future technical and architectural state
• Resolving challenges in product development in conjunction with vendors, engineering and defect managers
• Providing quality assurance of technical documentation and ensuring alignment to governance and standards

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Data Management (MS Compliance Centre, MS AIP / MS MIP / Records Retention)
• SharePoint (Online & On-premise)
• OneDrive Storage / SharePoint Development
• Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate / Yammer / Flow / Forms

Skills that will help you in the role:

• A development language and/or scripting technology (such as Powershell, Java Script, Chef)
• Experience of architecting, designing and engineering solutions at enterprise scale or large business scale
• Broad technical experience across multiple areas such as infrastructure, applications, networks, development.
• Where no relevant experience of direct skills, a demonstrable ability to learn and or cross train into these focus areas based on prior employment.

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
