Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability on over 4,500 products whilst delivering high levels of service to Trade, Stockists and intercompany customers.

Key Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Maintain product availability for ~4,500 manufactured SKUs to achieve line level service targets.

\xc2\xb7 Order components in line with daily and weekly production plans, working with planning to ensure alignment throughout the supply chain.

\xc2\xb7 Proactively manage, interpret and validate our component MRP (Materials Requirements Plan) and specific component master data.

\xc2\xb7 Manage and deliver launch and promotional planning OTIF for products to the UK market and other European markets, ensuring close communication with the Planning, Commercial and Demand teams. Interact with the wider business to minimise write off costs during product rundowns.

\xc2\xb7 Organise daily, weekly and monthly reports and meetings to manage a portfolio of suppliers including management of overdues, OTIF performance and supply capacity in order to proactively highlight risks to the daily production plan. Escalate where appropriate to purchasing, technical, production and planning to mitigate or eliminate impact.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to and lead supplier reviews together with purchasing, collating short and long term rolling forecasts.

\xc2\xb7 Lead continuous improvement projects within the procurement team and in the wider supply chain to enhance performance.

\xc2\xb7 Provide cover for other team members where required in the UK team and other local teams in Region West as part of vision for regional procurement standardisation. Participate in aligning processes between countries.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to and support on wider supply chain improvement projects and continuous improvement efforts to eliminate process and system risks.

\xc2\xb7 New supplier account creation and product lines linking to these accounts/ managing existing supplier accounts in line with a current sourcing change.

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

\xc2\xb7 Intermediate Microsoft Office and IT skills \xe2\x80\x93 experience of SAP would be advantageous

\xc2\xb7 Good degree of literacy and numeracy, analytical thinking and decision making

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

\xc2\xb7 Proactive approach and a focus on issue/conflict resolution
