Role: Procurement Professional

Location: Hybrid / 2/3 days On site Surrey/Hampshire

Salary: \xc2\xa345,000 + 25 Days + Bank + Company Shares + Life + Health

Opportunity:

Do you consider yourself to be the "talent of the future" in procurement? Our client, a leading UK \'Blue-Chip\', is looking to recruit a hungry and ambitious Procurement Specialist demonstrating a broad commercial mindset and a passion for innovation and value creation.

Role:
The jobholder will support a team of Procurement Managers, and will assist with the procurement of Indirect Services including Technology, Professional services, HR, Consultancy, Facilities, Infrastructure, Construction and Legal. With a large pipeline of imminent projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of Procurement skills including category management, spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, contract negotiation, as well as post-contract supplier performance and contractual adherence. The jobholder will be expected to support the full lifecycle sourcing process providing value analytical expertise across the RFX process. In turn, it is expected that the jobholder supports the supplier relationship management of business-critical vendors.

Experience:
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the procurement function of a prestigious \'Blue-Chip\' organisation. Ideally, you will have a desire to undertake the CIPS qualification, and to pursue procurement as a career.

• Demonstrates some experience of operating in a Buyer or Senior Buyer capacity across a broad Indirects
• Experience of using e-sourcing tools
• Analytical and logical nature, highly numerate with demonstrable experience of using Excel
• Confident communicator with an engaging personality
• Ideally Degree qualified
• Possess a good standard of Procurement competence in key areas of Sourcing process knowledge, Contracting Skills, Financial Awareness, and Supplier Management
