Job Description
VANRATH are thrilled to be assisting one of our major clients in Crumlin with the recruitment of a Procurement Officer to join their expanding team.
This is a position that requires combining excellent organisational skills, people skills and multitasking skills.
This is a Monday - Friday position. Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 5pm & Friday 8:30 - 1:15pm.
Salary
\xc2\xa327,000 - \xc2\xa335,000 per year + fantastic benefits in a modern workplace
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all purchase requests are in compliance with purchasing policy and procedures.
- Management of purchase orders from order placement to delivery.
- To source and price goods and services as required.
- To liaise with internal departments concerning prices obtained.
- Dealing with enquiries from prospective suppliers.
- Assisting in Tender processes.
- Contract management and review.
- Assist in performing governance role to ensure compliance with company policy and aide reporting of breaches.
- At least 2 years\' relevant experience of procurement.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Experience of working within an MRP/ERP platform.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365.
- Ability to work under pressure and under own iniative.
- Full driving licence.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) qualification or equivalent or actively working towards qualification.
- Knowledge of electronic tendering and contract management systems.
