Mission:
Define and manage Edwards Product Company (PC) Clevedon\'s procurement and material strategy to provide a resilient supply chain, deliver parts on time, to quality at the lowest sustainable cost level whilst leading and developing the team and supporting the GM in the wider goals.
Main Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Develop and lead a successful team of cohesive, committed, and result oriented people. \xc3\x98 Provide the Safety leadership to endorse the \xe2\x80\x9cSafety First\xe2\x80\x9d and achieve the health & safety goals.\xc3\x98 Develop and lead the procurement team to allow them to growth and meet a high engagement level.\xc2\xb7 Lead all sourcing activities to meet PC Clevedon operational needs.\xc3\x98 Guide the right supplier\'s portfolio to support current needs and strategic goals.\xc3\x98 Develop Long Term Agreement (LTA) including Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Buffer Stock Agreements (BSA)\xc3\x98 Establish integrated material supply methods along the entire chain (e.g. Kanban\'s, VMI,\xe2\x80\xa6)\xc3\x98 Implement a strong monthly process to monitor supplier performances both on service and on quality, review and develop corrective plans to address supplier performances.\xc3\x98 Balance customer service and inventory turns through programs such as lead time reduction, value stream mapping.\xc3\x98 Ensure that the supply chain strategy supports the division\'s sustainability goals.\xc2\xb7 Develop Business continuity plans and agility strategies for important suppliers.\xc3\x98 Develop business continuity plans for important parts aligned with the divisional strategy. \xc3\x98 Include in SLA (e.g. ramp up/down by +/- 20% for critical parts within agreed lead time)\xc3\x98 Trace developments affecting any purchased parts, e.g. obsolescence, legal requirements, raw material, currencies etc.\xc2\xb7 Focus on product cost and operational excellence.\xc3\x98 Identify and lead cost reduction programs which include:\xc3\x98 Work with the manufacturing department to increase and control the material supply chain.\xc3\x98 Identify continuous improvement opportunities for process efficiency.\xc3\x98 Think out of the box to identify potential supplier savings opportunities regarding Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Qualifications and Experience:
\xc2\xb7 Minimum bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain\xc2\xb7 CIPS qualification\xc2\xb7 Minimum 10 years procurement experience preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment\xc2\xb7 5 years in a strategic role, or experience in developing category strategies\xc2\xb7 Cost analysis and supply market intelligence\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation, both internally and with suppliers\xc2\xb7 Track record improving supply chains, supplier relationships and performance.\xc2\xb7 Procurement and supply chain process\xc2\xb7 SAP ERP Experience, including Material planning tools (MRP, Kanban, etc)
