Whilst Ofcom has its own procurement policies and processes the Commercial Team also works collaboratively with other public bodies and organisations where there are benefits in doing so.The Commercial Team operates as part of the Finance Team, led by the Finance Director. The Finance Team is part of the wider Corporate Group overseen by the Corporate Group Director.The purpose and scope of the roleThe Procurement Analyst, reporting to the Head of Commercial, will play a pivotal role within the Commercial Team. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, assisting stakeholders undertake low-value procurements, and ensuring compliance with public procurement law. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to achieving the teamxe2x80x99s overall objectives of ensuring value for money, high levels of compliance and delivering an excellent service to our stakeholders.Your Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with minimal supervision, provide administrative support to the Head of Commercial and Commercial Team.Undertake administrative tasks relating to public procurement and contracting, including publishing notices, taking moderation meeting minutes, and drafting letters and reports. The Procurement Associate will become a subject matter expert in this area.Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to undertake low value procurements.
