We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organised Administrator to join our team, responsible for providing full administrative support to our fabric procurement function. This varied role involves managing various data, tracking orders, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records as well as undertaking general administration.
The Role:
Maintain accurate and organised procurement records, including supplier information, pricing, and order details.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving any discrepancies or delays.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, clarify order details, and build positive working relationships.
Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance and maintain updated supplier lists.
Maintain and update procurement databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy.
Assist with the preparation of procurement-related reports.
Handle invoice processing and resolve any invoice queries with suppliers and the finance department.
Provide general administrative support to the procurement team as needed.
Identify areas of improvement in systems and processes.
Develop close working relationships with other departments across business.
Other administrative duties as requested.
The Person:
Previous administration experience (Essential).
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Self-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment
A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Solid IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of procurement processes and terminology (Preferable).
GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths & English
