We are seeking an Engineering Trainee to join our Engineering team this summer. The role of the Engineering Trainee is to work as part of the GBP (Grinding, Bulk & Pyro) global product engineering team supporting pyro products and projects. You will discover and support product development and project execution using your educational skills and knowledge to support our team. The successful candidate must be proactive and able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team orientated environment. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills are essential.



This position is located in High Wycombe, you will report to Mark Addison, Engineering Manager.



What you'll do



Provide support to Proposals and Project Management teams over University Summer Holiday period

Develop experience with view to further work experience or full time employment, post graduation



Who you are



Committed to working safely in all aspect of the business delivery

Competent problem solver with sound understanding of engineering principles.

Ability to organise, prioritise tasks in a dynamic multi-project environment.

Able to be an effective team member.

Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information, and company intellectual property.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications:

Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ensuring that all responsibilities are met in accordance with company values, procedures and the Employee Handbook.
