Processing Technician (Plating)
Bromsgrove
\xc2\xa322,000 - \xc2\xa327,000 per annum + overtime

There is an immediate requirement for a capable operative to join a successful service provider as a Plating Technician. The role will involve electrochemical brush plating of customer owned and sample parts both in-house or at a customer\'s designated location.

An ideal candidate will either have experience of some form of electro-plating or another process / technique where accurate and controlled results are required. The ability to attend both the Bromsgrove facility and to travel to customer sites to undertake field based work will also be required.

The following skills and experience are essential:

- GCSE education (or equivalent) with strong level of Maths, English and technical ability
- Ability to work in an accurate manner with strong attention to detail
- Good client facing skills
- Ability to travel to as required with nights away from home, as and when required
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and associated technical information
- Flexible working approach
- Full driving licence
- Computer literate
- Understanding of Quality and Health & Safety procedures

Any of the following would be highly advantageous:

- Knowledge of electro-plating techniques / processes (such as anodising, galvanising or chemical/ brush/electro plating)
- Experience with any manufacturing / production / rectification / application process where accurate and neat results are required.
- Previous field based experience
- Any formal engineering / manufacturing qualification

Salary is offered at between \xc2\xa322,000 and \xc2\xa327,0000 per annum. Candidates would be expected to show flexibility towards working additional hours both in the week and weekends, with stays away if / as appropriate. Travel and accommodation would be provided with any additional hours paid on top of basic salary at a premium rate.
