Seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Cheltenham area. As a focal point for engineering and processing, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing new products and processes, including automation. You will also ensure the smooth integration of legacy products into the production environment and assess aftermarket products to meet customer requirements. Key Skills:
Relevant engineering qualification (Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred) or substantial relevant experience
Proficiency in high-precision hydraulic component grinding, including fit/clearance & nulling
Experience in grinder programming, fault finding, and staff training
Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles, design concepts, and technical specifications
Familiarity with measurement systems such as air gauging, Starett, Mahr Formtester, and Keyence or equivalents
Ability to create comprehensive process documents
Combination of product and manufacturing engineering expertise highly desirable
Proficient in creating PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Energetic self-starter with strong organisational abilities
