Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and develop control plans to strengthen process control and enhance product quality.
Create and maintain detailed production process maps with associated improvement plans to optimise workflow and minimise waste.
Conduct process audits and identify areas for improvement in terms of safety, quality, productivity, cost and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and analyse manufacturing process data, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to drive performance improvements across production operations.
Ensure up-to-date Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) are in place for all processes and products across the manufacturing and assembly value streams.
Implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to enhance consistency and reduce variation.
Play a key role in the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing.
Take a active role in lean improvement initiatives, participating in cross functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Track and report on process engineering KPI's, supporting continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory standards for all process engineering activities.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation in manufacturing processes.
Additional Responsibilities
Develop strong working relationships with the value stream teams to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks to support business objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Process engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
Experienced in the use of standard process engineering tools, such as PFMEA,
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a face paced environment.
Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings and specifications, including geometric dimension and CAD.
Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated, open to change and experience as a lead, ability to mentor.
