Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Process Engineer to join a leading global provider of high-performance materials used in the electronics industry. The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
Leading the scale-up of new technologies from R&D to full production.
Working with epoxy, polyurethane compounds, and other liquid chemistries.
Collaborating with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless process transfer and robust production capability.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and optimizing existing manufacturing processes.
Sourcing, specifying, and supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Developing clear and effective operating procedures and supporting the training of production staff.
Supporting New Product Development with robust, repeatable, and safe manufacturing processes.
The ideal Process Engineer candidate will have:
At least 3 years experience as a Process Engineer
A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience or understanding of manufacturing production process, Ideally in chemical blending/mixing or wet chemicals.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and implement improvements.
Understanding of FMEA processes and lean manufacturing principles.
Good knowledge of production equipment and writing SOPs or HMI instructions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset and willingness to be involved on the shop floor.
