We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual to join our administrative team as a 12 month fixed term Private Care Radiology Coordinator/Administrator.
The post is based within diagnostic radiology which provides a variety of radiology procedures within the various imaging modalities including CT, MRI, x-ray, ultrasound and breast imaging (including biopsy/interventional procedures). They successful candidate should be flexible to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm Saturdays (when operational). The post is based within Cavendish Square; on very rare occasions staff may be required to rotate to our Chelsea or Sutton sites.

The post holder will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team in the provision of an efficient and effective Diagnostic Imaging Service.
The role of the Private Care Radiology Coordinator/Administrator is to ensure the efficient administration of all private patient referrals. The post holder will be responsible for welcoming patients at the front of house reception in Diagnostic Imaging at Cavendish Square. Responsible for booking and managing the private patient pathway according to the imaging service and requirements to the individual patient and referrers. The post will be based on the Cavendish Square site however the post holder will coordinate all patient flow in liaison with the Private care team, modality leads and Interpreters and Radiology administrative teams at all sites.
The post holder will liaise with a variety of staff throughout the Trust. This will predominantly involve radiology leads, receptionist and secretarial staff within Imaging. In addition, there will be contact with consultants and their secretaries throughout the Trust and other health services as external hospitals and private practices.

To act as front of house meet and greet at reception within Diagnostic Imaging at Cavendish Square.
To physically escort patients within the Cavendish square building.
To act as the main point of contact for all private patient enquires and coordinating bookings for radiology.
To ensure proactive co-ordination of all Private Patients imaging studies.
To ensure all Private patients have appointment letters, patient information leaflets and history questionnaires and that any cancellations are re- booked to avoid loss of valuable slots.
To maximise utilisation of private patient appointments in order to meet divisional and trust PP targets and KPIs.
