\xc2\xb7The preparation of Transport Notes, Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans and Site Access Appraisals.
\xc2\xb7An understanding of relevant local and national policy and guidance.
\xc2\xb7The use of Junctions software (ARCADY and PICADY).
\xc2\xb7Traffic signal design using LinSig.
\xc2\xb7Preliminary design of access, junction improvements and highways schemes using AutoCAD.
\xc2\xb7The preparation of high-quality graphics using GIS packages and/or Corel Draw.
\xc2\xb7Exposure to Project Management and client communicationKey skills required:
\xc2\xb7Experience in the field of development transport planning.
\xc2\xb7A member (or seeking to be) of a professional membership, such as CIHT or ICE.
\xc2\xb7Accuracy and good attention to detail.
\xc2\xb7High standard of work ethic and ability to use initiative.
\xc2\xb7A formal education in either Civil Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.Benefits Include:
