As a Principal Scientist Analytical Chemistry, you will be responsible for:

Technical Leadership: Utilise your extensive experience in analytical chemistry to lead and guide the development and application of LCMS and GCMS techniques within our research projects.

Project Management: Take charge of analytical chemistry projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.

Innovation and Method Development: Spearhead the design and implementation of novel analytical methods, pushing the boundaries of existing techniques to address complex challenges.

Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including research, engineering, and quality control, to integrate analytical solutions into product development processes.

Team Mentorship: Provide mentorship and leadership to junior scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, scientific rigor, and innovation.

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyse complex data sets generated through LCMS and GCMS, drawing insightful conclusions and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Instrumentation Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of advanced analytical instruments, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all analytical activities adhere to relevant regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.

Scientific Communication: Effectively communicate research findings through technical reports, presentations, and scientific publications, both internally and externally.

To be a successful Principal Scientist Analytical Chemistry you will have/be:

Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field: Backed by a solid academic foundation, demonstrating a strong understanding of analytical techniques.

Minimum of 10 years\' experience: Extensive hands-on experience in analytical chemistry techniques, with a specific focus on LCMS and GCMS.

Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor scientific teams, driving innovation, collaboration, and results.

Method Development Expertise: Proven track record in designing and implementing novel analytical methods to address complex challenges.

Analytical Instrumentation: Proficiency in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments, especially LCMS and GCMS.

Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely project completion.

Data Analysis: Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality standards relevant to analytical chemistry.

Excellent Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.

Publication Record: A history of contributing to scientific literature through publications and presentations is desirable.
