Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacy technician looking to develop their career in a hospital pharmacy setting.



The successful candidate will lead our team of technicians, adapting and enhancing technician roles to reflect the changing needs of the patients and the clinical pharmacy service, as well as managing the day to day workload at ward level within the Cardiovascular pharmacy service.



The successful candidate will join the Cardiovascular pharmacy leadership team and contribute to strategies to develop and enhance service provision. You will be responsible for providing and ensuring a safe, efficient and accurate ward-based pharmacy technician service is delivered to across the Cardiovascular directorate.

We are looking for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician with demonstrable competencies in hospital pharmacy practice, leadership/management, excellent communication skills and a demonstrable commitment to patient care and experience.



You should be a highly organised, supportive and motivated team player with the ability to prioritise appropriately, and manage and deliver medicines optimisation projects.



Most importantly you must uphold and demonstrate the Trust values and have a passion for delivering the best quality care for our patients.
