Grow here.The Belfast office are looking for an Principal Mechanical Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to join their established team based in Belfast.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, client-facing Engineer to take a leading role on a variety of exciting projects across Northern Ireland. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-motivated, confident individual with team leadership skills, able to deliver high-profile projects to the highest standards.What you'll do!

• Maintain Client relationships with several key clients.
• Undertake quality checks and promote technical excellence.
• Be accountable for the team's results and adherence to agreed-upon budget.
• Act as a mentor to other staff and promote CPD activities.
• Carry out risk assessments and value engineering.
• Contribute to and provide information for fee proposals.

• Extensive experience in mechanical building services design.
• Knowledge of a wide range of market sectors.
• The ability to provide technically sound design solutions.
• Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients
• Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
• Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, and developing designs from first principles.
