Position Overview:

As a Principal, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm\'s investment strategy, sourcing potential investment opportunities within the healthcare sector, leading due diligence processes, and actively managing portfolio companies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the investment lifecycle, from deal origination to exit, while leveraging your deep understanding of the healthcare industry. Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities within the healthcare sector, focusing on growth buyouts and value creation.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential target companies, including financial analysis, market research, regulatory assessments, and scientific evaluations.
• Develop and present investment recommendations to the investment committee, providing insightful analysis and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with senior team members to structure and negotiate investment transactions, ensuring alignment with the firm\'s investment thesis and regulatory requirements.
• Actively manage and support portfolio companies within the healthcare sector, working closely with management teams to drive operational improvements, growth strategies, and value creation initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, industry experts, advisors, and potential co-investors to enhance deal sourcing, execution capabilities, and industry knowledge.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within the healthcare sector to identify new investment opportunities and risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a scientific discipline such as biology, chemistry, medicine, or a related field. An advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MD) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate development, with a proven track record of executing successful healthcare investments and driving value creation.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or healthcare services.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities.
• Experience leading due diligence processes in the healthcare sector, including scientific assessments and regulatory considerations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment recommendations and interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and manage junior team members.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
