Engineering services are delivered for the px group by the engineering consultancy division px Engineering Consultants Limited ("PXECL"). The team comprises of managers, senior engineers, engineers and designers that have direct experience of construction projects and operating facilities, as well as exceptional engineering expertise.

The Opportunity

We are now recruiting for a Principal EC&I Engineer to be based at our office at Saltend.


It is the responsibility of the Principal EC&I Engineer to support the delivery of defined engineering tasks for different projects to the highest standards complying with legal obligations and client statement of requirements. In addition, the role involves supporting the development of proposals for new business opportunities, provision of consultancy services and deputy line management responsibilities of the team.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree qualified in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control engineering, or equivalent Experience of EC&I engineering in the delivery of the full project life-cycle including Pre-FEEDs, FEEDs and EPC within chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and power generation industries. Working knowledge and experience of EC&I design standards and legislation. Experience of hazardous area equipment selection and installation design requirements including relevant standards.
