A leading architectural and engineering firm is seeking a Principal Designer for their office in Manchester. With a strong commitment to design excellence and safety.
As a Principal Designer, you will take a pivotal role in shaping the design and construction phases of projects to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and the effective management of risks. You will be working closely with the design teams, contractors, and clients.
The Principal Designers Role
- Supply pre-construction information
- Understand & produce Construction Phase Plans (CPP\'s)
- Advising and assisting the client with their duties under the CDM regulations and other construction related health and safety standards, regulations, and legislations
- Assist duty holders to develop Pre-Construction Information (PCI\'s)
- Understanding of CDM Regulations 2015
- NEBOSH certificate in Construction Health and Safety
- IOSH membership or APS preferred
- Previous experience advising on CDM compliance
- Previous experience carrying out Principal Designer duties
- \xc2\xa350,000 - \xc2\xa360,000
- 25 days annual leave + 8 days statutory
