This opportunity sits within the Asset Management Transformation team, part of our growing and dynamic UK Business Advisory (Management Consulting) practice. This team is dedicated to enhancing the organisational maturity of our clients for making better decisions to maximise value from their built or natural assets over the whole lifecycle, underpinned by adoption of best practices and innovation, better strategies and planning, upskilling workforces and data led decision-making that optimises outcomes for customers, stakeholders, and society in a sustainable way. We are a diverse team of management consultants with an asset management specialism, bringing together experience from engineering, technical, commercial, and business backgrounds.



Our Asset Management (Business Advisory) team provides advice and delivers change programmes and initiatives for clients across a wide range of infrastructure, asset types and sectors, including but not limited to Rail, Roads, Water and Electricity Utilities, Defence, Environment, Central and Local Government.



Our experts in asset management and business transformation collaborate closely with specialists across Arcadis in technical, commercial and management, providing both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice. Role accountabilities:





Workstream and team leadership through the project lifecycle, from sales, solution design and activity planning to successful delivery and knowledge capture Tackling complex-built asset centric related problems, as part of a wider management consulting engagement, designing and implementing solutions that add business value Our programmes are widely varied but typical value propositions offered in our Business Advisory Asset Management service line are as follows: + Asset management operating model design & transformation programmes
+ ISO 55001 aligned asset management system development
+ Regulatory business planning and adaptive planning
+ Asset portfolio investment prioritisation & optimisation
+ Benefit-led prioritisation of asset management improvements, innovation and business change programmes
+ Operational efficiency improvement
+ Asset information and data maturity improvement

Continuous development of our Asset Management services and sector-specific offerings Support and own aspects of team strategy, team members and capability building activities Lead and manage teams, while coaching and mentoring colleagues to support their development and career aspirations Support the 'on-project' development of team members' skills to help them achieve their career goals Business development, bidding and supporting sales

Qualifications & Experience:





Whether you come from a built asset or consulting background, you will join an entrepreneurial and inclusive team that is growing fast. Ideally you will be a proven professional in the built asset environment coming from either an organisation which owns, operates, or manages assets, or a consulting organisation, with an understanding of what it takes to grow business and build relationships.



You will be a problem solving and output thinking individual, who can understand clients' business needs and deliver solutions.



You will also have the following key skills and expertise:



Demonstrable track record of working on asset management or management consulting projects in a relevant sector (Property, Public Sector, Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities and Transportation) Significant experience, content knowledge and practice of at least one of the following expertise areas: Strategic Asset Management Planning, Asset Management Decision Support through the Whole Lifecycle, Asset Management Transformation Strategy, Asset Management Capability development Demonstrate understanding of how management consulting projects are typically delivered - from project start & mobilisation, through to delivering clients requirements and expectations Experience in managing business relationships and influencing clients and stakeholders at all levels Experience in business development, bidding and supporting sales Leadership experience, including management of projects and work streams including management of consultants, analysts and client team members or equivalent in an industry role Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Desirable: Expertise in one or more phases of the asset lifecycle ( strategy and planning, design and build, operations and maintenance, or decommissioning Desirable: A recognised external accreditation/qualification to Business Advisory or Asset Management capability expertise (e.g. MCA or IAM) or interest in working towards Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.
