Teaching Assistant Part-time - Afternoons Only Wednesday to Friday 12-6pm SEN / lunchtime support / After School Club C of E Primary School Hammersmith and Fulham Start date: ASAP Ongoing contract to July 2024 A lovely Church of England Primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to support children across their school to start ASAP. The Role In this role you will start at 12pm to assist with supervision over the lunchtime period until 1.30pm. During lunchtime you may be required to work with different pupils or age groups and must be flexible and adaptable. You will then spend the afternoon supporting children with special education needs within the classroom as well as providing general classroom support. Children\'s needs will vary and the school are looking for Teaching Assistant\'s with a positive and caring approach and training and support will be provided. You will work closely with the class teacher and other senior professionals in the school to ensure the child is able to access learning and complete tasks and activities. You will then be required to assist in the after school club from 3.30pm until 6pm. This will involve working with all primary aged children, some of whom may have SEND. You will assist with play based activities and supervision of playground/facilities as well as providing tea time refreshments. This role is to start ASAP and is offered on an ongoing contract basis for the academic year. The school are looking for TAs with previous experience working with children either in a school or in another capacity. The school is popular within the local community and there is good parental support for the school. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes first hand experiences to challenge, motivate and include all pupils. Staff at the school are welcoming and friendly.
