Curriculum Implementation: Key Stage 1/2 teachers are responsible for implementing the national curriculum at this stage of education. Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment is essential. You\'ll establish and communicate clear expectations for behaviour, manage student behaviour effectively, and create a safe and respectful atmosphere for learning. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Key Stage 1/2 teachers assess students\' progress regularly to track their academic achievements and identify areas for improvement. You will design and administer assessments, grade student work, provide feedback, and communicate progress to students, parents, and other stakeholders. Differentiation: Students in Key Stage 1/2 have varying abilities and learning styles. As a teacher, you\'ll need to differentiate your instruction to meet the diverse needs of your students. This includes adapting teaching methods, materials, and assessments to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed and reach their potential. Collaboration and Communication: Key Stage 1/2 teachers collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support students\' learning and development.
