An award-winning, fast-growing healthcare organization is looking for a highly motivated
PCN Manager
to join their expanding team. With a focus on delivering high-quality primary care support services, this role plays a crucial part in managing service delivery, leading clinical and non-clinical teams, and ensuring operational excellence across primary care settings.
This is a full-time position based in
Bradford
, with occasional remote working if required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the business, ensuring all clinical and non-clinical staff deliver services to a high standard that meets CPPE, GPhC, and all regulatory requirements
Lead service development initiatives and enhance current service delivery standards
Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to all team members
Foster a culture of openness, continuous learning, and high performance
Develop and execute training materials and personal development plans (PDPs)
Manage rotas, monitor attendance, address clinical incidents, and ensure punctuality
Liaise effectively with clients and key stakeholders
Use KPIs and internal frameworks to track and improve clinical outcomes
Oversee CPPE course enrolment and progress tracking
Monitor team performance, ensuring weekly growth and achievement of KPIs
Prepare and deliver performance reports and dashboards to senior leadership
Ensure training compliance and alignment with the organization's ethos and vision
Gather and act upon feedback from PCNs, practices, federations, and stakeholders
Contribute to contract reviews, service presentations, and client retention strategies
Audit services delivered by clinicians to ensure compliance with governance standards
Drive service innovation and operational improvements to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
Extensive experience working within primary care
Strong understanding of NHS systems and contracts (PCN DES, GMS, PMS)
Prior leadership experience in managing teams across clinical settings
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with EMIS and SystmOne
Knowledge of clinical pharmacy, terminology, and healthcare compliance
Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strategic mindset with the ability to implement plans effectively
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform well under pressure
Proven track record of using data and KPIs to drive team performance

Additional Information:
This is an in-person role based in Bradford
You must have prior experience working in general practice
Experience managing clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians is essential
Previous experience as a PCN Manager is highly desirable
Ability to travel to the workplace is required
