Job Description

This role requires expertise in setting and operating Amada Press Brakes to produce precision sheet metal parts across various industrial sectors. The focus is on quality, efficiency, and teamwork within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Set up and operate Amada Press Brakes (mandatory experience required). Confidently operate CNC press brakes and work efficiently to meet production targets. Experience with Salvagnini panel bending is desirable but not essential.
Quality Control:

Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate components. Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout production to ensure quality. Conduct first-off inspections for your own and team members' work.
Documentation and Maintenance:

Accurately complete all production paperwork Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring machines are cleaned at the end of each shift.
Collaboration and Mentorship:

Work effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines and maintain production flow. Mentor apprentices by sharing knowledge and demonstrating best practices.
Additional Skills:

A Forklift Truck license is desirable but not required. Suggest and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
