Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with sheet metal fabrication. This role involves setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to specifications. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate metal components. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications for bending operations. Use hand tools and basic maths skills to measure, cut, grind, and assemble parts accurately. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Ensure all safety protocols are followed while operating equipment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools and basic maths for measurements and calculations. Experience with sheet metal fabrication, including grinding, welding, and tooling processes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by production demands.

Hours

8:00am - 17:00pm Monday to Thursday

8:00am - 13:00pm Friday

Salary based on skill/experience.

Job Type: Full-time
