We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to manage various activities effectively.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children within the nursery setting.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods effectively.
Drive initiatives that encourage children's independence and confidence through play-based learning.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
Skills
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications in childcare.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
Leadership qualities to inspire and guide fellow practitioners in providing exceptional care.
A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations within the nursery environment.
