Job Description

This role will see you being part of a team of 11, meaning you\'ve got a wealth of knowledge to learn from. You\'ll be working for a leading supplier in agronomy, seed, and crop protection products. They pride themselves in putting the needs of the growers first and have a huge reach within the industry.

What\'s the role?

You will be trained up to provide support to agronomists on rural consultancy, precision, and soil health. You\'ll get to spend half your week out with growers and agronomist, crop walking and seeing your knowledge put into practice.

As well as being out on farm, you\'ll also work from home to process precision data, including variable rate fertiliser and seed maps, provide variable rate recommendations and create prescription files

You will learn and maintain knowledge of application machinery and keeping in contact with the Precision Technical Manager to ensure protocol documentation is kept up to date.

What skills do I need?

You will have a background in farming and agriculture and be looking to develop a career in an advisory role.

You might have knowledge of key farm application equipment and be happy to use this knowledge to talk to growers.

Seed and fertiliser knowledge would be ideal, with FACTS a great addition but not essential

Resilience, ability to work autonomously and within a team, as well as being a sell-starter will be key attributes for this role
