Preceptorship Mental Health Nurse - Locked Rehabilitation for men

Location: Port Talbot, Neath

Salary: \xc2\xa319.00 - \xc2\xa322 per hour - ( \xc2\xa335,568 - \xc2\xa341,184 per annum based on 36 hours p/w)

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 24 or 36 hours - 2 or 3 shifts p/w)

Shifts: Options of Days only ( 7.30am - 8pm ) or Nights only ( 7.30pm - 8am ) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

\xc2\xb7 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified staff nurse to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive 18 bed Locked Rehabilitation Hospital for men aged 18 - 65 with mental health conditions. Induction & Training Programme:

\xc2\xb7 The Hospital offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will includes 5 days of MAPA training, followed by a 3 day Company Induction, followed by a 2 day Local Induction. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. You will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. You will receive ongoing support from your Manager.

Preceptorship Programme:

\xc2\xb7 The Hospital has a strong commitment to provide support for newly qualified nurses. This is via a purpose built, structured and comprehensive preceptorship programme. The programme is completed over a 12 week period where you will be a fully supernumerary nurse. This allows you to fully immerse yourself into learning aspects of your new role, whilst having a nurse mentor to work alongside.

\xc2\xb7 A newly qualified Registered Nurse ( RMN or RNLD) ? The Hospital welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses. Full training and support will be given by your own designated mentor.
