We are currently recruiting for a perm role- Pre Weigher based in Pontyclun

Contract: Perm

Shifts: 37 hours per week on a rotating shift of mornings and afternoons

Salary: \xc2\xa313.70-\xc2\xa315.23

Position Overview

To carry out a variety of tasks in relation to raw material weighing, quality, materials handling,

safety, administration and housekeeping.

Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities

Pre-Weigh Duties:

\xef\x82\xa7 Collection of raw materials from storage and return of part pallets to correct storage location;

\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure strict adherence to Good Pre-weigh Practice;

\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure continuous replenishment of certain storage locations (e.g. fast moving materials, hot room);

\xef\x82\xa7 Transfer of pre-weighed raw materials to correct storage location;

\xef\x82\xa7 Undertaking of daily cycle counts, annual stock check and other stock control checks as required;

\xef\x82\xa7 Identification and rectification of stock anomalies as required;

\xef\x82\xa7 Accurate weighing and labelling of raw materials in accordance with established procedures;

General Duties:

\xef\x82\xa7 Raw material and liquid sampling for Labs when requested;

\xef\x82\xa7 Use a variety of transportation to ensure the safe handling of necessary materials;

\xef\x82\xa7 Use computer systems and maintain stock accuracy;

\xef\x82\xa7 Minor maintenance tasks within capability of job holder;

\xef\x82\xa7 To give assistance within the Factory where skills and experience are appropriate when requested by

management, particularly regarding the handling of raw materials and liquids on site;

\xef\x82\xa7 To work as part of a team and to impart expertise to others as necessary;

\xef\x82\xa7 Adhere to all Health & Safety and Quality policies/procedures;

\xef\x82\xa7 Follow all relevant housekeeping procedures to ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is

maintained at all times;

In combination with the responsibilities outlined above, the Bulk Manufacturer will also play a

major role in highlighting and resolving problems by participating positively in working groups and

being flexible, intuitive and communicative. It is important that the Bulk Manufacturer works

toward all departmental objectives.

Qualifications and Experience - Essential

\xef\x82\xb7 A current Reach Truck licence;

\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of working in a production environment;

\xef\x82\xb7 A good general standard of education;

\xef\x82\xb7 A good understanding and attitude towards health and safety and housekeeping;

\xef\x82\xb7 A good understanding and attitude towards Quality

\xef\x82\xb7 A flexible attitude and willingness to work shifts.

\xef\x82\xb7 IT literate

Qualifications and Experience \xe2\x80\x93 Desirable

\xef\x82\xb7 GCSE Mathematics and English grades A*-E (or equivalent);

\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of working in a FMCG cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment.

\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of X3 software system;

\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of Good Pre-Weigh Practice.;
