This leading healthcare provider are searching for a Practice Nurse to work across three of their GP practices that are based within Milton Keynes.
These state-of-the-art, purpose-built primary healthcare services are renowned for their excellent NHS primary and urgent care, covering a vast range of services to their 13,000+ patients. These include GP appointments and Practice Nurse Appointments, centring around Childhood Immunisations, Long-Term Condition Management, and Vaccinations. All of the practices pride themselves on their high-quality patient care and quality standards and their ability to tailor their services to suit their individual patient\'s health and wellbeing needs; really setting them apart as a collective!

A successful Practice Nurse for this role will have experience working within a GP or community setting and has an understanding of primary care and long-term health conditions. You will be a support network for these patients, assisting in early management of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. As part of this role, it is important that you have previous experience with Wound Care, Venepuncture, ECG, Spirometry and Cervical Screening. You will be working collaboratively with the Local-Multidisciplinary Team and expand on their highest levels of care throughout the GP practices.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with the NMC
• Previous experience working within a GP or Community-based role.
• Knowledge and experience with patients with long-term health conditions
• Passion for high quality patient care
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Location:

This GP Surgery is based in Milton Keynes, commutable from Bicester, Bedford, Northampton and Towcester.
