About the Role:

The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including BA and MA Social Work, Social work Apprenticeship and CPD provision as part of our Advanced master\xe2\x80\x99s in social work. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research-informed, educational experience. We have internationally excellent research in education, social work, and social policy, and have several world-leading nursing and allied healthcare researchers in our faculty.

We are currently seeking two experienced Social Work practitioners to join colleagues in our Social Work department. These roles will both be based in our Chelmsford Campus and focus on developing our undergraduate (MA and BA) provision as well as apprenticeships and general social work placement provision. You will support module delivery in the classroom on our Social Work courses and maintain your currency of practice to inform course and module development. There will be opportunities to directly support students individually and in groups. You will be expected to visit placement settings, your base and other campuses as part of this role.

With a degree or professional qualification in Social Work, extensive post qualification CPD and SWE Registration, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have social work experience, and have experience of supporting and managing students or apprentices in placement. With excellent written and oral communication skills and a flexible and enthusiastic approach, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the ability to think innovatively and meet deadlines, sometimes under pressure.
