What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

We are seeking a PR and Communications Manager to join our Comms team to support our important work and be responsible for the delivery of PR and Communications activities to support Motability\xe2\x80\x99s vision.

In this role, you will play a leading role in delivering media activity to raise the profile of our grant making and innovation work with key audiences including researching, writing and distributing press releases. You will manage any incoming media requests as well as coaching and briefing spokespeople but drafting speeches and scheduling interviews. Alongside this, you will oversee key events including our Annual General Meeting and also preparing and submitting PR reports and dashboards as required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have previous similar experience within a PR/Communications role with the ability and proven track record to work in crisis mode with experience in building media relationships. You will have the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally including the media.

You will be a storyteller, with a passion for writing alongside excellent verbal communication skills with strong judgement and the ability to respond quickly, yet thoughtfully to urgent PR matters.
