Overview

We are looking for a Power Platform or Dynamics 365 Configuration Specialist to play a lead role in the customisation and configuration of Model driven apps for the delivery of a portfolio of high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes and liaise with the CRM Application Lead to scope requirements and design fit for purpose solutions via Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
• Customer engagement - Liaise daily/weekly with customer during development cycle \xe2\x80\x93 as subject matter expert you will be able guide/mentor them in choosing the optimum solution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications developed
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Support Quality Assurance during test cycles
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Customisation and configuration of Model driven apps
• Create dashboards, reports, data model, paginated report in Power BI
• Form scripting - Web resources, JavaScript, HMTL
• Develop/upgrade plug-ins and custom workflow, help to reduce technical debt

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• Customisation and configuration of Model driven apps

• Extending Dataverse - entities, fields, relationship, views and dashboard
• Model driven forms, apps
• Dataverse security model - business units, teams, security roles, field security
• Power Automate
• Power BI - dashboards, reports, data model, paginated report
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)
• Form scripting - Web resources, JavaScript, HMTL
• Paginated report /SSRS reports
• Develop/upgrade plug-ins and custom workflow, help to reduce technical debt

• Technical proficiency in C#
• Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Web API
• Database query languages \xe2\x80\x93 SQL , FetchXML
• Power Platform Administration

• Managing environments
• User administration and onboarding
• Managing bi-annual wave update - assess/test early access feature on sandbox
• Monitoring resource capacity
• Azure DevOps

• Backlog and Sprint
• Code repository
• Test management
• Development life cycle skills - analysis, design, implementation, deployment, testing and documentation
• Staying up to day with latest platform enhancement and knowledge sharing
• Grasp of architecture principles and adhere to Microsoft best practice, promote low code solution
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills on Power Platform / Dynamics 365

Desired Skills

• Experience of creating small business application using Canvas App
• Integration of Power Platform / Dynamics with other applications
• Azure cloud knowledge - App services, Azure functions, App registration, Enterprise application
• Awareness of Power Platform Licensing
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 suite
• React Single Page Application
• Test management in Azure DevOps
• ALM using Azure DevOps pipelines
• Knowledge of KingswaySoft SSIS connector
• Understanding of SharePoint, exposure to common admin functions

Experience

• 3-5 years hands on experience on Power Platform or Dynamics 365
