Overview

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our small but busy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work. As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, but mainly wheels, ensuring a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish. This role requires previous experience.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for powder coating, as necessary. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens. Apply powder coating evenly and consistently to achieve high-quality finishes. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards. Removal of wheels from cars. Remove and replace tyres from wheels Interact with customers, as required.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices. Previous experience in painting or powder coating is essential. Previous knowledge of working in a fast paced environment advantageous. Must have good work ethic. Time keeping and punctuality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.5 per week
