Eurofins Professional Scientific Services (PSS) is part of the Global Eurofins Business with over 61,000 employees. Eurofins PSS recruits full time scientists on permanent positions at client sites working collaboratively side by side with clients at their site on their projects and helping to develop and bring new medicines to patients to help improve and save lives.
This is a fulltime permanent position, working a 37 hour week, flexibly between 07:00 - 19:00 Monday - Friday.
The purpose of this job within DPD Particle and Powder Characterisation is to perform analysis and produce data to support powder and particle characterisation activities.

Job Responsibilities
To perform hands-on analysis of API samples for key physical properties such as particle size, surface area, surface energy, wettability, particle shape, microscopy, using techniques such as, laser diffraction particle size analysis, static and dynamic image analysis, surface area by BET, Inverse Gas Chromatography testing.
To understand and relate the impact of measured and computationally determined material properties on stability, formulation manufacturability and final formulation performance in collaboration with formulation and material scientists.
Perform data analysis and deliver clear conclusions to provide direction for future project work.
Manage large data sets into a precise format and apply data analysis tools to support visualization and trending of data (e.g. multi-variate analysis approaches, data visualisation, Python coding).
Use computational tools to predict particle properties and correlations among them
Communicate effectively to project teams and present data at team meetings.
Maintain high quality documentation of all activities in electronic notebooks and reports as required.
Plan and review work schedules to meet deadlines, communicate results clearly.
Work as part of a team or independently as required.
