Job Summary

Boeuf is a brand-new steak-frites restaurant in Rochester. We are looking to complete our fantastic team with two pot washers, who will take two shifts each per week on alternating days.

The Pot Wash role is not only essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment but also directly contributes to the overall speed of service. As a Pot Wash, you will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware are thoroughly cleaned throughout service to aid the rest of the kitchen team and the front of house staff in delivering an outstanding culinary experience.

Duties

Efficiently wash and sanitise all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils to maintain high hygiene standards. Ensure all glassware, cutlery and crockery are cleaned in a timely manner so that they are readily available for front of house staff. Support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring that clean items are readily available for food preparation. Dispose of waste materials appropriately and maintain an organised waste disposal area. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A proactive attitude towards helping others in a team-oriented setting. Good communication skills to liaise with chefs and front of house staff. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
This role is perfect for those looking to gain experience in the culinary field while contributing positively to a dynamic team within a hotel or restaurant setting.

Shifts

The shifts available are:

Thursday 5pm - approx 10:30pm Friday 5pm - approx 10:30pm Saturday 5pm - approx 10:30pm Sunday 1pm - approx 7pm
You will be expected to work TWO of these shifts per week, but to be considered for the role you must be able to work any of the listed days and times. We will not consider applicants who are only available for some of the required shifts.

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th April. The expected start date for this role is Friday 25th April. Unfortunately will not be possible to conduct interviews at any other time, and we will not consider candidates not available to work on Friday 25th and Sunday 27th April.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

If successful, you will be required to work on Friday 25th and Sunday 27th April. Please confirm that you will be available to work these days if you are successful in getting the role. If you are not available for BOTH shifts then we will not be progressing with your application.
