We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our team working on the five-year Wellcome Trust AMBIENT-BD project: \xe2\x80\x9cAmbient and passive collection of sleep and circadian rhythm data in bipolar disorder to understand symptom trajectories and clinical outcomes\xe2\x80\x9d. To deliver this ambitious programme of work we require two Postdoctoral Research Associates (PDRAs).
The Opportunity:
The postholders will contribute to all five AMBIENT-BD workstreams but will be particularly focused on workstream four \xe2\x80\x9cProspective study of the inter-relationships between sleep, circadian rhythms, light exposure and clinical/functional outcomes in people with BD across Scotland\xe2\x80\x9d and workstream five \xe2\x80\x9cCo-production and delivery of a knowledge exchange and dissemination programme on sleep and circadian rhythms in bipolar disorder\xe2\x80\x9d. Successful applicants will complete all the necessary ethics approvals and be responsible for the day-to-day collection of data for both workstreams, under the supervision of the AMBIENT-BD project leaders. This role will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, led by the Principal Investigator (Professor Daniel Smith) and Co-Investigators at the University of Edinburgh. Informal enquires are welcome:
