The project xe2x80x98Disability Rights and Inequalities in Higher Educationxe2x80x99 seeks to understand and explore inclusion and barriers to success for disabled students in higher education (HE) in Indonesia and England. The project brings together a team of researchers across the two countries, drawing on interdisciplinary insights from education, sociology, critical disability studies, and media and communications.You will support, work alongside, and lead on research activities in conjunction with the project team. This will include tasks such as conducting literature reviews, policy analysis, mainstream and social media analysis, interviews and focus groups with disabled students and academic staff in higher education and supporting work on a survey.You will be supervised by team members leading the different methodological elements. The research will adopt a comparative focus on the two countries, but you would be required to conduct empirical data collection only in England. You will become a core part of the interdisciplinary team and will liaise with, co-ordinate, and work alongside colleagues in both England and Indonesia.Duties will include project administration, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, writing up research reports and academic outputs, impact and engagement activities, and presenting research outcomes at workshops/events.About youThe successful applicant will:
