OPPORTUNITYExciting opportunity to join a recently formed portfolio monitoring team at one of the leading European alternative managers.JOB OVERVIEWxc2xb7 Wexe2x80x99re looking to hire a Portfolio Monitoring Analyst to join our recently created Portfolio Monitoring team, within the private credit investment teamxc2xb7 The role will be involved in key portfolio monitoring processes, across the Private Credit business (Western Europeanfocused lending business)xc2xb7 Ability to interact and partner with borrowers, the investment team, finance and investor relations team is an important aspect of the role.xc2xb7 The successful candidate will not only be execution focused but also take an active role in improving processes.RESPONSIBILITIESxc2xb7 Prepare monthly portfolio company data collection for internal (e.g. portfolio monitoring, risk, financing) and external (e.g. investors) reporting in partnership with outsourced data monitoring team (when applicable).xc2xb7 Assist in the preparation and coordination of quarterly portfolio monitoring reporting ahead of portfolio reviews, including supporting monitoring excel reports. Beyond preparation, it will be important to understand and analyse financial models, with the purpose of challenging the financials being reported.xc2xb7 Support the development of Hayfinxe2x80x99s reporting framework to shape and implement best-in-class processes to support business growth.xc2xb7 Support the teamxe2x80x99s portfolio level reporting and analytics, whereby deep dives are conducted to understand industry or portfolio trends. This is a key contributor to ensuring that broader themes are considered during the portfolio construction process.xc2xb7 Become key business partner for any asset level data ad-hoc requests from either internal or external parties.xc2xb7 Become stakeholder in private credit data integrity and governance framework.SKILLS & EXPERIENCExc2xb7 ~2-4 years of experience in financial services, private markets or a related field. Candidates with accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA), finance graduates or have gained relevant experience in a private markets buyside role are encouraged to applyxc2xb7 Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.xc2xb7 Strong working knowledge of finance, accounting, and fluency with reading financial statements across different sectors.xc2xb7 Good team player.xc2xb7 Ability to act autonomously when appropriate and know when to escalate matters.xc2xb7 Highly organised and attentive to detail.xc2xb7 Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.xc2xb7 Proficiency in a European language (German, French, Spanish) a plus
