Job Description


Purpose of the Role To deliver in depth analysis for the benefit of Savills and our client, working on a large Build to Rent portfolio of 16 operational sites totalling circa 2,500 units on behalf of a prominent institutional investor, the successful candidate will report into an Associate Director and will be given a prominent client facing role, with a high degree of responsibility and feeding into and reporting back to senior management. The role is designed to give greater insight into how the portfolio is performing, analysing any trends (leasing or operational) and most importantly maximising the portfolio\xe2\x80\x99s potential for further growth in a rapidly expanding sector. Leading on accurate client reports demonstrating performance and asset management initiatives as required. Collate and analyse data and trends associated with leasing, resident demographic, resident engagement, ESG, and H&S. The candidate will have previous experience of working in Real Estate and be able to provide a high level of service to, and establish rapport with the client and Savills\xe2\x80\x99 colleagues. Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong working relationships with the client, attending regular weekly and monthly meetings.
  • Ensure accurate client reports including financial reporting and analysis are prepared to correct specifications and issued to clients in accordance with agreed timescales, subject to approval by line manager as required.
  • Suggest ways to improve processes and service through innovation, technology and training.
  • Collating data from site teams or systems in areas such as; leasing, demographic data, resident engagement, ESG, H&S and arrears.
  • Assist the site teams with competitor analysis, property comparables and demographic data collection.
  • Analyse and prepare reports regarding the performance of the portfolio.
  • Produce and co-ordinate information, in line with Savills and client requirements.
  • Attend site visits as and when required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Experience, Skills and Knowledge People management and leadership experience, able to evidence:-
  • Highly attentive with extreme care for detail in all aspects of work
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyse data and trends
  • Strong team player: builds relationships and consults with others, quickly establishes trust and credibility. Ability to build relationships with colleagues from different areas of the country
  • Confident and adept and presenting to an institutional client
  • Able to delegate where needed effectively for maximum results
  • A motivator, able to improve the teams working by actively presenting where improvements can be made
  • Self-starter, who relishes challenges and strives for the best. Must be pro-active and possess the ability to work alone.
  • Someone who has innate curiosity and is eager to experiment and push the boundaries of what is possible
  • Relevant university degree
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, its data and analytical functions
  • Experience in financial reporting is essential
