Porters/ Drivers Mate (5 days out of 7)

Corr Recruitment is working with a leading department store chain for Furniture and we are looking to recruit Drivers mate / porter / drivers assistant to join their team on a temp to perm or ongoing basis.

Pay rate:

13.10 - Paid Weekly

Start Time

:

rotational only AM

06:00 am to 15:00 -

PM

13:00 to 10:00 pm -

The Role:

Calling customers whilst delivering with estimated delivery times and checking access for the van is there, gaining access using alarm codes & Key fobs Helping the experienced driver deliver products in a professional and friendly manner Helping warehouse department while not driving, assisting with various warehouse tasks, cross training while doing porters job on demand, requires flexibility and teamwork. Very good command of English, well spoken Excellent Customer Service and friendly and well mannered attitude, Updating apps and paperwork as required.

The Person:

Previous experience of delivering goods would be an advantage. The ability to keep to deadlines set Be presentable in appearance to represent the company well Must have excellent communication skills Must be friendly and helpful to customers.

Must be fit due to heavy items to be lifted

Must be flexible helping warehouse department

You also must be reliable, committed to work ROTATIONAL shifts you commit to and be available at short notice
