Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in both residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Install and maintain heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Assemble components and systems using hand tools and power tools. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Plumb heating systems as required, ensuring efficient operation. Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment and materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heating system installation and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous. Basic maths skills for calculations related to installations and repairs. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
